Jackson Wright is a young actor and singer whose performances in Southern California have earned him growing notice and acclaim. Recognized at the 2025 Jerry Herman Awards as Best Male Actor in Los Angeles, he went on to represent the region as a Jimmy Awards nominee, training at Juilliard and performing at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre as part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards. This year, he won the Jerry Herman Award again — for his performance as Tony in West Side Story — and will return to New York next month to compete at the 2026 Jimmy Awards.

Following the Jimmys, Jackson starred as Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and soon after made his television debut as Ryan, a teenage Irish-American gangster in a recurring role on the Amazon / MGM+ series The Westies(starring J.K. Simmons and Titus Welliver), premiering this summer.

Back on stage, this past fall, he played John Keating in the West Coast premiere of Dead Poets Society at St. Francis High School, and then did West Side Story in the spring — earning his second trip to the Jimmy Awards for his performance as Tony. He studies vocal technique with Scott Harlan and dance with Julie Schmid at Revolution Dance. This fall, Jackson will begin his BFA in Musical Theatre at Ithaca College.
